I open the front door and look up at the sky. Thin white brush strokes spread across pale blue colour.
I climb up between oak, beach, Baruch, and chestnut trees. Pale green, dark green, tinge of brown and red etc. Then I saw a burnt orange flying across in front of me. I must have surprised a robin on the tree.
The black iron railings along the path are dressed up with red ivy.
Then I saw a heap of empty chestnut husks mixture of young green and brown colours. Grey squirrels carefully guarding the leftover chestnuts in the husks.
Then I caught a magenta colour in the corner of my eye. I walked closer. Clusters of small magenta spheres among deep green leaves in the autumn sunshine.
I don't think I used this colour combination in my work before - I thought.
Nature is my source of inspiration.
